Ahhh yes nothing beats the Initial D 4 game in Trocadero in terms of fast paced drifting action and getting one over on your mates! Lots of youthful memories flooding back....sniff...
On a different note i would just like to add that mans already racked up 5 wins so if theres anyone out there worthy enough to challenge me then BRING IT!

Revisiting Our Youth

Warning! This post is tres 'Otaku', but the blog IS about the abstract of 'Fashionable Otaku' right?

So a few of the FO'ers visited Trocadero yesterday to kill some time. It was certainly interesting to revisit our adolescent 'Otaku' days. The lack of natural light, pounding electrical noise (aint got SHIT on dubstep!) and the DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) zombies was not something I enjoyed or have I merely matured and grown out of it? (no jokes about me being 'past it' thanks..)

Anyway Shamo and I decided to have a go at the Initial D machines, each got ourselves a card and car and had a few races. Both machines were demented and both took 2 quid off me and FAILED to give me anything. Calling the attendant was the worse, man was in the mute/unintelligble category and manners of an unmannered man haha). Moi and Shamo had 1 face off race which he narrowly beat me, however I will become the DK (Drift King FOOLS!)

Antarctic Weather

This was the pleasing view from Milo X Towers the other night, shame it came about 2 weeks too late! With temperatures lower than parts of the Antartic recently its not very fun for us Londoners is it?

F.O x HK Diner

If you dont know what HK Diner is, hit china town tomorow and find out, it was once the eaterie of the Fashionable Otakus, but due to Cha Cha 'not £3.50 anymore' Moon, we hadnt been to our ol place for a while, untill yesterday!
The favoured dish is the salt n pepper squid on top of egg fried rice, if you dont know what salt n pepper is, its a mix of fried garlic, onions and chillis with squid that has been fried in a salt n pepper light,crispy batter. Not too bad for £8.

It is soo nice we all ended up ordering it!Beats KFC anyday!

One of my favourite things about HK Diner, is the staff, they are soo rude its funny! If you have been before, you mos def know what im talking about! Not sure if you find it as funny as i do though!
