Comme Des Garcons x H & M

Rei Kawakubo the founder of uber-cool Comme Des Garcons brand is close to releasing her'guest designer' collaboration line for H & M. This is probably to do with the new H & M store opening in Tokyo, as the release of this line coincides with the opening of the Tokyo store. The line consists of Comme Des Garcons inspired clothing available for everyone, ladies, gentlemen and kids too. This is yet another coup for H & M i believe as it is following on from popular and successful collaborations with Viktor and Rolf, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli and the great man himself Karl Lagerfeld. Ive seen some nice pieces that Im looking to purchase and I think this will prove very popular. Rei Kawakubo's quirky anti-fashion will give the average shopper a different edge yet still draw in the fashionista crowd, the involvement of H & M lets us know that the prices will be alot more accessible than your typical CDG items. Release is to be sometime in November.
