Nando's Jumbo Platter Challenge

So being an avid fan of Nandos I have always challenged friends to my 'Jumbo Platter Challenge' which until last week was never taken up. Many say they can do it but they do not dare. Anyway basically if they finish their entire meal within 2 hours I pay for it so free meal if not they pay so its nearly £40 essentially down the drain.

So last week a friend of mine decided to take up my challenge on his 1st trip to Nandos. Hes a 240lbs and is an ex-boxer from Azerbaijan, so I was honestly worried I may lose the best...
Happy times at the start of the meal. That is all part of the Jumbo Platter, very HENCH indeed. This is what was left after 45 minutes, maybe about a third was eaten. He didnt even doggy bag it. Yeah you know it! Weep, because you just flushed £40 down the drain.

So still no one has completed the challenge, althought apparently a girl who worked there said some random (possibly morbidly obese man) has eaten a Jumbo platter..

So who knows, go and challenge your friends maybe Nandos will make it a feature of their menu.
