The days of waiting hours to charge a mobile phone or laptop computer could soon be over.A new battery is being developed that can be fully charged in 20-30 seconds. The new technology allows lithium-ion batteries, the standard variety used in consumer electronics to charge and discharge stored energy more quickly than at present. The technology has been dubbed the “beltway battery”
